A message from Johnny:
I know that many of you are asking "What happened with the Edgewise music video that we were a part of?" This is a valid question and while I have an answer it may disappoint many of you.
Director Ben Dawson and his team did an amazing job filming the video. However due to inconsistencies with the footage, much of it containing the audience shots were unusable and left on the cutting room floor. Translation: very little footage of the audience was good enough to make the final cut.
Producer and Film Maker Thomas Newman of Mind In Motion Inc. took over editing the video and felt that with these inaccuracies the video would misrepresent Edgewise and would not provide the band with the best product possible. And because this industry is product based and performance driven, Thomas created the final version of the video with the band's best interests in mind, which sadly, excludes footage containing many of our close friends and colleagues.
We are, however, extremely grateful for everyone's help and participation in the making of the video. We hope you had as much fun hanging out with us and being a part of its creation as we did.
We also hope that you appreciate and respect this decision, and that you will enjoy the 'official' version of the video which is being finalized and prepped by Thomas Newman for distribution to Much Music, MTV, and numerous other forms of media and entertainment.
Thank you again for your understanding and we hope you enjoy the show.
Sincerely,
Johnny.
P.S. I would like to show our appreciation by posting THIS version of the video.
